But a desperate plea from a sick colleague has Bel saying yes to supervising a kayaking trip on the Hackensack River.
And so one fine Saturday morning finds Bel paddling in the ravaged tidal estuary once notorious for pig farming, and still known for pollution and mosquitoes and . . . corpses!
