On Bali, the people spend their free time making beautiful things, including music and dancing, to honour their gods. The sound of gamelan orchestras, with their metal gongs, simple flutes, bronze bars over hollowed bamboo, and cymbals can be heard all over the island.
Set in this exotic locale, 'A Club Of Small Men' tells the story of the first-ever Balinese music club for young boys. We follow the adventures of Kayun and his friends Kantin, Dapat, Dog, Kinigan, and Bedil - and the American stranger who comes into their lives - as they learn to play the famous gamelan music of Bali.
