When Athens journalist Nikoletta Elia disappears while on assignment on the island of Naxos, her editor calls on Chief Inspector Andreas Kaldis to investigate. It seems the reporter was approached by a fan who took credit for several suspicious deaths she had written about in the past. The assassin told Nikoletta that he had changed his evil ways, and lured her with the promise of a series of articles that could rocket her career into the stratosphere. But what does this fan really want?
After arriving on the island, Kaldis discovers a body at the base of a cliff. Every lead he gathers points him to more dead bodies and sinister threats. Can he solve the deadly puzzle before losing his own life?
