Meanwhile, a quiet period has left DS Danny Maik with only a string of arson attacks to investigate, including one at a local climate monitoring facility. A body found in a bird hide might connect the two lines of enquiry, but Jejeune's suspension means the men cannot share information. Meanwhile, Danny's personal relationship with DS Salter necessitates a new posting for one of them.
