Jamie Ryan, willowy DJ with Fab City radio, is more confident about her ability to predict the scores in the Premiership than she is about her capacity to be a girl. Though her mother is the owner of the biggest beauty salon in Limerick, Jamie is happiest when she's watching a match with her Dad and her friend and housemate, Shane Ali. Besides, her brother has gone missing and she has more to worry about than shoes. Then the suave and sophisticated Steve Lowe joins the team at Fab City and Jamie suddenly becomes interested in learning the secrets of girl-land. She enlists the help of her best friend, Sophie, who is also Fab City station manager.
