Darius, the playboy god of gems, has dallied one too many times. His father Zeus refuses to rescue him again, and so Darius is cursed without a body for 3,000 years.
In present day St Louis, Alexandra is almost finished sculpting the life size statue of the glorious god Darius. The auction of her work will bring much needed funds to the orphanage where she grew up, but as she spends night after lonely night lovingly creating the statue, she falls a little in love with it and almost loathes to see it finished.
Then on the day of the preview auction at the Ladies' Club, Darius comes to life - in all his naked splendour! He refuses to relinquish his new body, and instead vows to show Alex the many pleasures they can share . . .
