'A War Against Truth' is an explicit, original, confrontational and deeply personal account of the US-led invasion of Iraq from celebrated author and journalist Paul William Roberts.
Paul William Roberts arrived in Baghdad in March 2003, days before the U.S. launched its “shock and awe” campaign on the ancient city. Roberts is an authority on Iraq - having covered its politics for three decades - and he is one of the few Westerners to have interviewed Saddam Hussein. Over the course of many visits to Iraq, Roberts had witnessed the struggles of Iraqi friends and colleagues as their country was ravaged by war and sanctions; but nothing could have prepared him for the injustices he witnessed during “Operation Iraqi Freedom.”
