Being a porn star is the absolute furthest anyone can go if they're wanting to be famous, that's for sure. How could anyone challenge that? I'm always naked for everyone to see. I do things for a living that most people would consider extreme or outrageous.
And I get to do interviews where I get to tell reporters the honest truth. 'I just love getting *&^%$#,' I tell them, and watch them try not to react.
Brisbane-born Monica Mayhem is the best-known porn star from Down Under - a rarity in a business employing very few Australians. In this, her no-holds-barred autobiography, she reveals the compulsive, adventurous streak that compelled her to abandon her six-year career as a financial-markets executive in Sydney and London in favour of lap-dancing in Spearmint Rhino and the big bad world of adult films in America. There, she made an immediate impression by winning the coveted Starlet of the Year award in 2001 and the Vixen of the Year award in 2002. After more than 400 movies and magazine layouts, Monica began another career transition, as a rock singer with her band, just before she won a part in the recent Sex and the City movie. Absolute Mayhem lifts the lid on the sex and mayhem of Monica's truly extraordinary private and professional life, while exposing the real person behind it all.
not the best
After reading this book cover to cover, I must say what rubbish, alot of the stories are not told 100% truthfully, and I know as I knew her in her previous life. Who would honestly care what led her to that life? Can anyone write a book now?
