When White Hawk dreams of capturing enemy horses, he sees it as a sign, so he convinces Tall Bear to travel with him. White Hawk and Tall Bear are kolas, friends. They share a sacred friendship. But out on the dangerous mountain cliffs, jealousy leads to betrayal. The Great Spirit hears his cries and has the eagles adopt him, thus saving his life.
