Prosecuting attorney Abbie Griffin was unaccustomed to having her murder convictions overturned, particularly when the man she'd put on Death Row, Charlie Deems, owed his reprieve to Abbie's estranged husband Robert, a Justice of the Oregon Supreme Court.
