Alishba was born and schooled in a land far away. A land of antelopes, elephants and passionfruit vines. Alishba's parents and brothers bestow on her the gifts of Courage, Care, Determination and Dare, which she passes on to her baby sister. Together they become kind, brave, bold and rare, just like the splendid capes they wear. Written in the form of a traditional folktale, the story portrays the author's early life growing up in Pakistan.
