Born and raised in Melbourne, Allison Veronica Garcia has a proud family background from Argentina, Spain and Italy. She intensely studied writing and editing with a focus on specialising in the crime/thriller genre since having a strong family history of direct relatives who worked in the police force and as special detectives in homicide, and in the army working on secret services.
Allison felt naturally influenced to write a dark tale after listening to many of their stories of how they got the bad guy and the tedious process they endured to get there. Nothing North is her first debut novel with a supernatural twist.
Allison is a passionate reader and a dedicated writer. She has been writing short stories and emotionally charged poems for more than sixteen years. She currently lives in Melbourne, Australia with her family and her beloved Dachshund, Fifi.
