AUTHOR: Amsterdam-based photographer Cris Toala Olivares (1982) travels around the world, chasing his own stories and the world news. As a teenager he moved from Ecuador to the Netherlands. With a photo of the tear gas attack by Israeli on Palestinean olive farmers, he won the 'Zilveren Camera' (silver camera) in 2009.
