I loved seeing the development of the characters by the end of the book because in the beginning Colins so depressed and melancholy over his breakup with K-19. However, as he meets new people, makes new friends and experiences things on this road trip that hed never usually do, he learns what it means to really matter to people and be important and be remembered for something. Realizing that theres more to life than just existing is an important idea and theres really a lot you can take away from this book. Id recommend this book for anyone whos looking for a quick and easy read because its only just over 200 pages. Also if youre into YA books and teen romances defiantly give this book a go. An Abundance of Katherines Part 2
I must admit the beginning was a little slow and the book didn't really pick up until about 100 pages in, but still overall I really enjoyed it. Surprisingly, it actually contains quite a bit of mathematics as Colin is trying to come up with a theorem to predict how long any relationship will last, but if you're not into math don't be turned off by this book already its still readable as it explains everything with handy little footnotes throughout the book and an appendix at the end. Don't let the math part detract from you reading this book because its not that big of a deal really. And since math is one of my subjects I take university I actually quite appreciated to see Colin try and combine mathematics to predict something so unpredictable such as love and relationships it was a new perspective Ive never seen done before. An Abundance of Katherines Part 1
An Abundance of Katherines is the third book by John Green that Ive read and man can he write YA books and teenage romances really well. I really enjoyed all the characters in this book and felt like they were all relatable in some way. Its basically about a boy named Colin who has been dumped by his 19th girlfriend all of whom were named Katherine, and no hes not a player or anything like that hes a child prodigy who just has a thing for girls called Katherine so his best friend Hassan decides they should go on a road trip together so he can move on from K-19. They meet new people and it ultimately becomes a story about self-discovery and really mattering in the world. Reviewed by Alex Chiodo

An Abundance Of Katherines
This was much better than Looking for Alaska but not as good as The Fault in our Stars or Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Colin Singleton was hard to relate to and the mathematical footnotes were a little exasperating but Hassan was adorable, if a little tragic. Not bad but not worth raving about like the others I mentioned above.
