Anna Malagrida was born in Barcelona in 1970. After studying Information Science, she specialised in photography at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d'Arles. Since 1998, her work has found expression both in photography and video. The latter once again calls in question the limits of photography and often reflects an interior/exterior dichotomy as a manifestation of a duality of observation. She works as a commercial photographer and also teaches History of Photography both in France and in Spain. Although she settled in Paris in 2000, she has kept up her connections with her own country. She has likewise carried out projects in other countries, particularly Jordan.
