Illustrates Cornish resort of Bude, which was, at the beginning of the 19th century, a tiny, almost unknown sea port on the coast of north Cornwall. Once a sleepy hamlet on a rugged, inhospitable coast, it became a fashionable bathing place. This collection is also a series of old and rare photographs and images of Bude.
