In a period of profound social and environmental upheaval, climate change has become one of our greatest challenges. Yet for many of us, fear, confusion and frustration mean we are reluctant to consider, let alone act on this pressing issue.
Science is vital to finding and enacting solutions to this challenge, but we rely on artists to bring this abstract material into the realm of culture. Their work can help us develop a deeper understanding of our present reality, and inspire a vibrant, positive vision of the future.
In collaboration with the Ian Potter Museum of Art at the University of Melbourne, Art+Climate=Change documents twenty-five exhibitions by artists during 2015.
