Animal Haven is a temporary home for all sorts of Australian wildlife, although there are a few permanent residents as well, like Oscar the owl, Fur Bag the possum, Cinnamon the koala and Alice the labrador. Meg and Mike live there, too, and they work so hard to help their parents rescue and look after the animals that the locals at Jeff's Creek have nicknamed them the Aussie Angels.
A llama turns up at Animal Haven and, despite many phone calls, the Greens can't find anyone to claim it. So that little Aussie devil Mark decides to take Lara the llama to Pets' Day at school - once he's trained her to spit on certain photocopied portraits! But a major drama dashes his hopes of winning the Most Unusual Pet award, getting even with Kara the class pain and teaching Greash and Foxie a lesson.
