Welcome to Long Bay, Australia's hardest prison. For the first time prison guards, inmates and all those that have worked in and around the notorious South Sydney facility will reveal what goes on behind the towering concrete walls.
CONVICTED rapist Bilal Skaf would not shut up.
“Give me a cigarette,'' he screamed.
For 15 minutes he repeated the three words, his demands driving the other prisoners mad.
“Just give him a cigarette chief,'' yelled one of the inmates, his plea bouncing of the cold concrete walls.
“Shut the rapist up,'' screamed another.“Or let us at him and we will shut him up ourselves. For good.''
It was the gang rapist's first night in jail.
He did not care about the other prisoners who were desperate to bash him. He just wanted a smoke.
The prison guard on duty eventually heard the prison plea. He unlocked Skaf's cell door, standing in the shadows with a baton in one hand and a nicotine patch in the other.
“What's that?'' Skaf asked. The guard told him it would fix him up and stop his cravings.
“And what do I do with it?' he asked.
The prison guard looked at Skaf with a straight face. “If you really want a fix you need to rip the tabs of and stick it on your testicles,'' the guard said. “That will sort you out.'' Skaf pull down his pants and whacked the patch on his scrotum. “Thanks chief,'' he said.
The silence of night was broken and hour later. Skaf was screaming in pain and throwing up. He had turned green. “His balls were had turned black,'' revealed a former prison guard. “And he was as sick as a dog. He was rolling around the floor in pain. And all the other prisoners were rolling around the floor in laughter.''
