Six strangers wake up on a remote island no memory of their arrival. They soon discover they only have one thing in common: they are all heroin addicts. And they are becoming increasingly desperate for their next fix.

From a yacht anchored offshore, a group of the shadowy figures watch and wait. Then the castaways find a letter. Their next hit, they learn, and their only chance of escape, is on another island just a mile away, but across some of the most dangerous shark-infested waters in the world. The letter ends with one simple instruction: Begin whenever you wish.

As the group are forced to face their darkest fears they will be pushed to the very edge of sanity. The odds against survival are long.
