Foreword by Jim Maxwell

As a boy growing up in Australia, Andre Leslie had always dreamed of playing cricket for his country...little did he know that country would be Germany, a country that hardly knows that cricket exists!

When Andre moved to Berlin for work, the last thing he thought he would end up doing is playing cricket in the snow. Stumbling on a local cricket club made up of ex pats he joins up and quickly finds out that most training sessions end at the local pub. However, through hard work and not that much drinking, the BCC (Berlin Cricket Club) find themselves in the finals. Along the way Andre is chosen to represent Germany in the national team and must make the hard decision to stay with his local club or achieve his lifelong dream of playing for a national team, even if it was German and not Australian!
