Wedding bells are about to ring in Tranters End - Mr Babbercom has got engaged to a frightfully nice lady named Alice. Old Noshie and Skirty Marm are delighted - now they can be bridesmaids, and Mendax the Cat can sing a solo at the service!
But Mr Babercom has other plans - and so does Mrs Abercrombie, exiled queen of Witch Island, who turns Alice into a snail. Now Nosh and Skirt will have a chance to save the day after all!
