July 2015: the Bloodhound team will unveil the car with which they'll attempt to break the World Land Speed Record. Powered by a jet engine and a rocket engine Bloodhound is the culmination of a ten year engineering effort. The 300,000 horsepower, 1000mph car will be flown to South Africa for the attempt.
Driver Andy Green must steer across a dry lake bed at almost unimaginable speeds, needing to cover a measured mile in just three seconds.
