If you think that underground is just pitch-black soil with no sign of life, you should think again. All kinds of things go on there! Roots feed plants, moles hunt worms, worms flee from moles, carbon forms coal, miners work and extract what we need. People park and shop, athletes train and swim, art-lovers study pictures. I’m not making this up, you know! There’s nothing dull about life underground, never has been and never will be. If you don’t believe me, you should go down there with me… all the way to the very core. But will you be brave enough? Besides, there’s a danger that you’ll like it so much, you won’t want to come back up.
