So when he discovers a greyhound hiding in the shed, he decides someone must really be listening. With the help of his brothers, Billy sets out to hide her from Dad and Other Nan. But keeping a greyhound hidden is a hard task, and when Billy's classmate Paris enters them all in a local talent show, the secret threatens to slip out.
Billy takes a big, brave decision - one that he knows will get him into Big Trouble, but which might just save Dog and hundreds like her.
