Naunakhte is a servant at Amun's temple in ancient Egypt. Accused of an act of lascivious sacrilege, she is forced to flee to the the city of Waset, where she meets the prince of the underworld, Khonsu.
However, when fate returns her to the temple she is forced to choose between the two lovers.
