Originally published in 1965-66, this series which was controversially cut short after just four issues, is now considered to be one of the greatest anti-war comics ever produced. The stories told in Blazing Combat were unique in that they reflected the human realities and costs of the Vietnam War, rather than exploiting the cliches of the traditional men's adventure genre.
