'Blessed Art Thou A Monk Swimming' is the high-spirited story of a young girl, Marian, growing up in sixties Dublin. To escape the confusion of her eccentric family she books herself into boarding school, where she embarks on an attempt to discover the true facts of life - facts which, her school friend assures her, are concealed in the opening lines of the Hail Mary.
