A lovely, busy story with three chunky machine-shapes on colourful ribbons to move through the pages. Children will love being able to read the story and join in with the action. Lots of opportunities to chug, shovel and scoop your way through the brightly coloured pages.
The team are building a playground and clearing up the rails and sleepers at the old railway track to make a cycle path. Lofty has a very special responsibility. He has a very strong magnet to help tear up the tracks. But dustbin lids, old bike wheels and all sorts of other unwated rubbish gets stuck to him. But, when Mr Bentley, an important building inspector, looses his silver pen, Lofty is able to put his magnet to good use at last.
Each scene in the story will have a character missing. The child can choose from the three chunky press-out shapes mounted on the front cover, which machine they should add to make the scene.
