Boobook The Owl

The owlets sang a soft trilling song while waiting to be fed by their parents. By the time he was three months old, Boobook lost all his fluffy white down. When he was a year old he learnt to say "Boobook, boobook". When he was four years old he found a mate. She did not call "Boobook". Together they built a nest in the hollow of a tree.
