This was my first Mark Lawrence book and it will absolutely NOT be my last! The storyline of this book was so compelling and complex that, admittedly, it had me scratching my head at times and some sentences didn’t quite make sense but the story makes up for it entirely.
10/10 would recommend and I’m so mad I have to wait to get the second one! - Hannah (QBD)
