Bottle Top Bill (and his best friend Corky) blazed into preschoolers imaginations in 2006. The average viewing audience for the first series, which was shown on the ABC, was 350,000 per episode.
With quirky story lines, adventurous locations (ranging from the Wild West to the Moon) and a strong recycling theme, the series is a fresh, creative and highly original animated program for children aged 3-6 years.
Everything and everyone in the program is made from everyday bits and pieces. Each new character, place, or object is cleverly "built" on screen to encourage and inspire children to be creative.
Moon Mayhem and The Junkosaur, titles from two of the episodes in the first series, will feature stills from the TV episodes and adapted scripts.
A double-page spread at the back of each book will present craft activities from the different stories.
Moon Mayhem: When Bill and Corky spy something eating the Moon through their telescope, they take off on a space adventure in their rocket. But when they land on the Moon, they encounter someone very unexpected (and a little bit scary).
