Originally published to accompany an exhibition at Karsten Schubert, London, the studies explore the results of Riley setting circles of colours ? such as turquoise, cerise and ochre ? at different distances. The images are accompanied by an interview with the artist by Robert Kudielka from 1972, just following the creation of these works.
