Anne, Jamie, Thea, Emily, Bryn and Paul. Six people who don't know each other, but they do have one thing in common. Their lives suck. All in their twenties, just out of college or in dead-end jobs, they each have a reason to respond to the mysterious job advertised in the 'Media Guardian', which simply says: "Bright Young Things wanted for Big Project".
They all expect the interview to be, well, just another interview. Then they wake up on a deserted island. They have no idea who brought them there or why. But there's food in the fridge and they've got a bedroom each, so they may as well relax, right?
