This is a novel about the holocaust and the impact on the lives of those who survived it. In 1996, Hammelburg wrote "Kaddish for Daisy." The book was much praised but disappeared from the bookshops shortly afterwards. He has now added new material based on interviews with Holocaust survivors to produce this new book.
