'Cairo Jim And The Sumptuous Stash Of Silenus' is a tale of gold, greed and gruesomeness set in Egypt, Greece and Turkey. Captain Neptune F Bone and his raven Desdemona stumble across Silenus in an olive grove in Greece. Legend has it that Silenus, half goat and half man, is the one who granted King Midas his power to turn anything he touches into solid gold. A plan immediately forms in Bone's greedy mind to procure the services of Silenus to help transform him into the wealthiest man alive.
However, over time Silenus's powers have diminished somewhat. Bone discovers that the only thing that can restore them is to find the last object that King Midas turned to gold. This is the life-sized daughter of King Midas who resides in Praxis, Turkey, as a magnificent statue of solid gold. Thus the search begins for Silenus to recover his powers. Cairo Jim sets to work to stop Captain Neptune F Bone in his pursuit to dominate the world's total gold resources and save King Midas's daughter.
