Lots resemble runes in many ways, in their relationship to alphabets and their use in divination and magic. Each lot — crafted from wood, cardboard, or other material—bears one of the 22 Hebrew letters. Casting Lots contains explanations for each of the 22 lots, plus instructions on how to cast them, as well as how to craft your own set of lots. It also explores the magical uses of the lots, as well as how to use them to contact and interact with the Hebrew spirits, such as Asherah. (A brief guide is included for those unfamiliar with these spirits.)
