Borderlands was a nice read, but not quite my cup of tea. Skye has a writing style that makes her characters real – with all the messy, realistic knock-about details. There wasn’t your smooth show of grandeur but simply five run-away teenagers who were trying to survive and protect their future. There was no quest or greater purpose, but there was love and adventure all the same. Skye’s writing gives you real people, real stories, in a world different to ours. - Melissa (QBD)
