Edmonville: an ordinary town full of ordinary citizens going about their business.
Then the earth tremor hits. Glass shatters, concrete crumbles, buildings fracture and collapse as everything disappears beneath choking clouds of dust.
The survivors emerge to find that their town has been transformed into a Hell on Earth, balanced precariously over a bottomless gulf. The world beyond has ceased to exist. There can be no rescue, and something is stirring in the Chasm below. Something which emerges from the depths to unleash a terrifying onslaught on the survivors, in what is to become a desperate fight for survival against the greatest Evil of all.
