Cherryblossom, a seamstress, is visited late at night by a bear walking out of her fire. He asks her to sew a cape from the stinging nettles growing in the old castle ruins, then a dress from the blossoms of the cherry trees in the old castle orchard. When Cherryblossom says she cannot, the bear urges her, "If you will, you can. Trust your heart." And she does . . .
