Child-initiated Play

Independent learning and child-initiated activities are at the heart of early learning. This book explains the background and philosophy behind independent play for the under 3s and then each chapter relates to a specific area of learning/play e.g. messy play, water play, mud play (!) supported by lots of practical activities and suggestions for suitable resources.
