'The Space Machine' is both homage to H G Wells and wonderfully imaginative fiction. It was praised by "The Times" as "a mutation between The Time Machine and 'The War of the Worlds". In 'A Dream of Wessex', the author conjures up an alternative reality where his characters find both peace and fulfilment until a disruptive force arrives.
