As the Church Year unfolds, much like gardeners eagerly await seasons, we anticipate upcoming festivals. The transition from Advent to Christmas and Epiphany happens swiftly, driven by both activity and reflection. Ash Wednesday can sneak up on us, especially in early Easter years. St. Brigid's Day and Candlemas in early February serve as reminders to prepare for the journey through the Passion and Resurrection of Christ in the weeks ahead, prompting us to deepen our prayers and devotion.
