When special agent Kiera Smith revealed a major conglomerate's plan to take over the galaxy, she also inadvertently revealed that she was an illegally engineered GEP (genetically engineered person) with a set of highly specialized skills. Her mad-scientist creator ignored the Galactic Federation's strict GEP protocols, and the result was a person that was stronger, faster, and more highly evolved than ever thought possible. On a desperate search to seek out and recruit other GEPs like Agent Smith, the Federation stumbles upon an unassuming and very uninterested Echo Adams, and immediately turns her life upside-down.
