Jordan Price is unlucky in love. 6 of the last partners that she has dated have died in bizarre circumstances. After the death of her most recent husband, the Powell private detective agency are bought in. Rick Carson heads the investigation and from the outset is suspicious of Jordan. She is young, beautiful and after the death of each of her lovers becomes increasingly richer.
As the story develops Rick and Jordan get closer and we learn that Jordan might not be the suspect that Rick takes her to be.
Or has Jordan just developed an elaborate plan to ensnare another man into her web...
