John Constable (1776-1837) lived and worked in many locales, but his heart belonged to the magnificent fields and forests of England's Suffolk County. Many of these 30 black-and-white illustrations come from ""Constable Country"" - the area surrounding the artist's home in Dedham Vale. Accurate re-creations of his works include Boat-Building near Flatford Mill; Malvern Hall, Warwickshire; Weymouth Bay; The White Horse; The Haywain; and Marine Parade and Chain Pier, Brighton. Each image awaits colours from a paintbrush, pencil, marker, or crayon, ready to provide hours of rich creative pleasure for artists of all ages.
