Apostle Paul tells us we are called to 'pray without ceasing' (1 Thessalonians 5: 15-18).
To pray unceasingly encourages regular prayer times, always taking the opportunity to give God thanks. Most importantly, it deepens our relationship with our heavenly Father and we learn to depend on and trust in Him alone to handle everything that concerns our life.
Prayer is a time when we intentionally come into the presence of God and lay all that is on our minds and in our hearts before the One who can initiate the changes we must make, or give us direction. Lack of personal prayer time will cause us to depend on ourselves instead of depending on God's grace to see us through everything we are called to face in day-to-day life!
I have found that early morning is my perfect time to really seek God's plan for each day through His Word and in our prayer time together. It sets my 'God tone' for each day.
It is my prayer that this book of prayers (from my heart to yours) will encourage you in your daily walk with Christ. That you will meditate on the scripture written and that you will learn to make known your requests to God and write out His responses to you. All things become possible through Christ Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
