Ruth Starke's young PI is on the case again. The Angel's latest investigation promises to be just as exciting and funny as Dead Red and Starstruck!
From the case notes of Angelo Martinelli's Muck-Up Day: Case #3.
People say that school days are the happiest days of your life. I think they've just forgotten what school's like. I won't say they're exactly like prisons - we're allowed to go home at night - but it's still forced labour under harsh and constant supervision. After twelve long years of it, who can blame the inmates if they go a bit crazy on their final day of imprisonment?
The name's Martinelli: Angelo Martinelli. Most people call me Angel. Me and my mates Cato, Stace and Emma make up the CASE-Breakers. (I'm the A in the middle.) None of us is in Year 12 but we found ourselves right in the middle of the mayhem. Lucky for the school that we were, because this day started with a group streak across the oval and ended in a snatch worth a cool $150,000.
When you think about it, Muck-Up Day's just about the perfect day to commit a crime. Nothing's normal, everybody breaks the rules, and Year 12s get the blame for everything.
