She's the sleep-deprived working mother of a newborn. She may inadvertently nap at town meetings and be drowning in paperwork, but nothing stops Sheriff Joanna Brady when there are crimes to solve.
Joanna snaps into action when she gets a call about an old Buick, with two passengers, that plowed through a retaining wall at the Montezuma Pass Overlook in the Coronado National Forest and then plunged off the side of the mountain. She needs a helicopter to get the bodies out before she can figure out whether this was an accident, or something more sinister.
