The first biography of the Manchester born singer whose album 'White Ladder' has sold over a million copies in the UK and produced the singles 'Babylon' and 'Please Forgive Me'.
David Gray first found fame in Ireland five years ago after a TV presenter adopted his song 'Shine' from his second album as his show's theme tune. He invested the proceeds of an Irish tour in making 'White Ladder'. One of the tracks 'Babylon' became an unlikely dancefloor hit after it was remixed by Orbital. His acoustic CD 'Lost Songs' accompanied 'White Ladder' in the UK Top 20 in early 2001 and was promoted in the US via a major headlining tour.
